Oatley Flora and Fauna Conservation Society has made a submission for a Community Acquisition Proposal for Glenlee to be made part of the Georges River National Park. This proposal is supported by OFF members , and Georges River Council and the Friends of Glenlee, who have also made submissions.
As the conclusion to the submission states “The Glenlee site represents a rare convergence of ecological, cultural, and historical values within an increasingly urbanised landscape and as such would be a worthy addition to the Georges River National Park.”
A copy of the submission can be found here.
