8 OFF members spent this morning strolling through the beautifully landscaped and generally quietly reflective gardens (only occasionally interrupted by the call of the peacocks {male Indian peafowl).
The Japanese, Scented, Rose and Seasonal gardens all demonstrated their essential qualities and we posed for the obligatory photo near the pool of reflection. As the day grew warmer we enjoyed the plentiful shade provided by the extensive tree canopy cover especially around the billabong and in the rainforest area.
We spotted many turtles, water dragons, egrets, cormorants, brush turkeys as well as the ubiquitous ibis, finishing up with a pleasant home made picnic lunch.
