On Saturday , 13 April, community volunteers lead by OFF, in combination with the Greater Sydney Landcare Network, will participate in the first re-greening event for 2024.
This planting of 1,700 plants will include 1000 tube stock from the Menai wildflower volunteer nursery. These plants will assist in providing trees for shade and habitat , and contribute to the target of achieving 40% canopy cover in the Georges River area.
Location: Beale Reserve, Lorraine St. Peakhurst. 9.00am to 2pm.
