Curracurrang falls can be easily confused with Curracurrong Falls as the names are very similar. As described in the walk promo, Curracurrong Falls flow over the cliffs from Curracurrong Creek, whereas Curracurrang falls are in Curracurang Gully, which then flows out into the ocean near Curracurrang Gully Lookout. See Google Maps.
13 people along including new members and friends had a great morning walk from Wottamolla car park to Curracurang Falls. They enjoyed beautiful views along the cliff walk, saw native birds including a white bellied sea eagle gliding, honeyeaters, and wattle birds. The falls and waterhole were a lovely chance to cool off and enjoy a rest stop.

Lesley Wylie will lead us to perhaps the most beautiful waterfall near Sydney, the only tidefall in NSW. Watch as it plunges directly off high cliffs into the ocean. On windy days, it’s also known to blow back up as mist, becoming a “reverse waterfall”.
Meet at Wattamolla carpark number 2 (up the hill) at 9:30am for a 5km scenic walk to the waterfall and back. We’ll break for a swim in the water hole and return to the carpark. A lot of the walk is exposed so bring a hat and sunscreen, as well as snacks and water. Leader: Lesley Wylie 0400 562 085.
