On Sunday, 27 August 2023 OFF members enjoyed a wonderful day walk on the Blue Gum Swamp Track in Winmalee. Walking down to the forest floor an incredible number of bird calls were heard, including honeyeaters, robins, bellbirds and lyrebirds, which Debbie Andrew helped to identify. The tall Blue Gums in the forest were spectacular and some members are already planning a return trip. Another highlight were the early Waratah flower buds which we saw on the return walk. Thank you Lesley Wylie for organising such an enjoyable walk!
